Jarrow Formulas Announces the Release of Jarro-Dophilus® Women.
LOS ANGELES – January 24, 2017 - Jarrow Formulas® announces its appointment as distributor of the Astarte® probiotic strains which the company will sell under its famous trademark “Jarro-Dophilus®” Women. This women-specific formula contains four clinically documented lactobacilli strains isolated from healthy women and supports urinary tract health and an optimal vaginal microflora.*
Astarte® is the only commercially available and clinically tested preparation which contains the documented strains found to be the most prevalent and dominant in the healthy vaginal microbiota of women: Lactobacillus crispatus, LbV 88, Lactobacillus jensenii, LbV 116, Lactobacillus gasseri, LbV 150N, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, LbV 96.
Available in two strengths, the Jarro-Dophilus® Women 5 Billion Formula is shelf stable and features Jarrow Formulas’ new pH-Sensitive Food Grade Enteric Coating on veggie capsules.
