Jarrow Formulas Hires Technical Specialist
Los Angeles, CA, January 18, 2010 – Jarrow Formulas®, Inc., a global wellness and nutritional product company headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, announces the hiring of Kaori Shimazaki, Ph.D as its new Technical Specialist.
Previously, Dr. Shimazaki worked for SDG, Inc. where she worked on research and development of future therapeutic tools including liposomal targeting drugs in various cancers, type I and II diabetes, and viral infections. She obtained her Ph.D from the Molecular Biology Institute at UCLA. Â Dr. Shimazaki has extensive experience in project and laboratory management, and technical development in both academia and pharmaceutical companies. Her multi-disciplinary collaborations as well as her work in protein/peptide/small molecule chemistry, antibody engineering, and imaging have led to numerous published papers, grants, and patents.
